Woodland Caribou: Park & Permit Info region_icon_info.gif
Permits are required for backcountry camping in Woodland Caribou Provincial Park. Ontario Parks notes that all fees collected by the park are used exclusively by Ontario Parks.  2009 fees for adults, non-Canadian residents are $14.00 per day. Non-residents aged 6-17 pay only $6.00 per day.  Permits are also required for day-use and for frequent visitors to the park.

Permits can be obtained from: (1) local canoe outfitters, (2) by mail from Woodland Caribou Provincial Park (P.O. Box 5003, Red Lake, Ontario, P0V 2M0) (3) by phone via Point-of-Sale Service from the Ontario Parks office during business hours (Visa, Master Card, AmEx; Tel: (807) 727 1329, (4) over the counter from the Ontario Parks office in Red Lake during business hours (8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday), (5) from the self-serve station located in the Four Season Sport Shop in Ear Falls, during business hours, and (6) at the self-serve kiosk located at the front door of the Red Lake Regional Heritage Centre–available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
