Hello, new member here, so forgive me if this is a stupid question.
In our profile options, there is an "Edit Avatar" option. When I went to this option, it won't let me post an avatar. I noticed in the threads that the only avatar I am seeing is KCanoe, who seems to be a moderator. I am wondering if the avatar option is available for regular members?
Thanks for any info!

Hi Debbie -- its not a stupid question at all, thanks for bringing it up! I've noticed that there aren't any other avatars out there yet, we're not sure if others are having trouble with them, so let's see if we can troubleshoot your issue and maybe others will follow suit.
In the User CP, under 'Edit Avatar', you should see a screen like this below:

If you can't see this screen, then we may need to do some troubleshooting with permissions. If you can see that screen:
Select the 'Use Custom Avatar' button.
Then enter a URL to the image, or upload an image from your computer. (Click the browse button to find the file on your computer) and click 'Save Changes'.

hope that's helpful!

I can't see that screen. All I see is the top part labeled "Your Current Avatar". Nothing else below.

Hello, thanks for responding about the avatars. I can see "your current avatar", which is blank, and an option that is selected that says Do not use an avatar, and then there is nothing else under it, just the "save changes" and "reset fields" tabs. So the entire Custom Avatar section is missing.
Thanks for checking into it!

all --
It seems we had the Avatars function disabled for non-moderators (sorry 'bout that) -- if you log out now and log in again, you should see option to 'Use Custom Avatar' enabled.

I just attempted to upload an avatar, and it worked perfectly. I just thought you'd like to know. Looking forward to seeing what everyone chooses to upload.
