This is a Old Town 14.7' Guide Canoe that I purchased from a friend and am in the process of making a fishing canoe out of it.
I made my own stabilization system made from PVC pipe with hard wood inside to beef it up. Picked up the Crab floats online for $40.
I added a middle seat and lowered it by 1.5", added GCI Canoe seats, which are totally awesome! Got a brand new Minn Kota turbo 24lb trolling motor on ebay for $36 :) Picked up a fishfinder and rod holders which still need to be put on.
Will post more pics as it gets finished!
