Well I am disappointed to hear that there are some on this board that take themselves so seriously that they appoint themselves the forum police. That is a function reserved for the site moderator's and administrator's.
I would ignore any pm's from other user's that seek to school you in forum protocol. Especially since I know that you are a veteran forum user and not some noob.
I'm a moderator at a forum that has almost half a million registered users. I've seen it all and believe me, you are both a gentleman and a scholar.
Your enthusiasm for canoeing, interesting topics, timely replies, general delightful fellowship and humor, IMO is desperately needed by this fledgling forum.
The Internet makes the world a smaller place. But I hope this forum doesn't end up just a small clique with a 'vote you off the island' mentality.
